Rupauls Drag Race! - RuPual Inspired Make Up

No High Resoultion photo for this look because my dad had to take his camera immediately after I finished filming the video. =[ But anywho, having watched the past 3 seasons of RuPauls Drag Race, I've always noticed that RuPaul, herself, always has great make up. So I FINALLY chose to do a look inspired by her. And Her make up especially stood out to me on this past Episode of the show on the runway. A very striking pink and black dramatic eye look.

SuckerPunch! - Amber (Jamie Chung) Inspired make up

    Sorry for the bad anlge in the photo. but today I wanted to do at least 1 more inspired look from Suckerpunch. So based on memory, I tried to semi-recreate a look that Jamie Chung's Character wore in one of the scenes in the movie. Hope you enjoy :D

SuckerPunch! - Baby Doll Inspired Make Up

I went to the movies with my Dad on Saturday to see SuckerPunch. I had been waiting for it to be released for a long time so I was excited, but then I heard that it got bad reviews so I was pretty disappointed. But We went to go see it anyway. I have NO idea why people didnt like this movie. It was Amazing. Visually stunning. Very inspiring too. Lots of pretty girls with make up. :)  So I decided to do a few videos based on some of the girls. Starting with the hero,BabyDoll, Emily Browns character in the movie. Her make up is very simple. Its basically a defined crease and a winged eyeliner with OBVIOUS false lashes. A simple clean natural look (despite the lashes =P).

RuPauls Drag Race! - Punk Raja Inspired Make Up

     I had a late dance practice on Monday so I missed the showing of this weeks episode of Drag Race, but whenever that happens I end up watching it online that night. I already had comments on Facebook saying I should do looks inspired by Manila or Raja. I'm Trying to stay away from glitter looks until I get decent glitters to work with, so I couldn't do Manila's Disco look. So I went with Raja's Punk Style make up. :]

     I'm really lucky that i have access to high quality video equipment lying around my house. I dont think i would have been able to become a proper youtube guru person if i didnt have an HD-ish camera.  Cuz i know That I, personally, prefer gurus with HQ or HD video because its kind of a neccesity with  make up.

Nicki Minaj Knock Out Music Video Inspired Look

     I've been wanting to do another Nick Minaj Inspired look. But, as usual, I wanted to try to do something that the others on Youtube havent done. So instead of doing a look inspired by the make up she wore in the video, I did a look inspired by the Wig she wore in the music video for Lil Wayne's song "Knockout". That wig is definitely one of my favorites of hers. Its half Blonde, half teal, and a little touch of pink in the back.

RuPaul's Drag Race! - Raja Gemini Inspired Make Up

A few days ago I finally chose to do a Raja inspired look. She's a favorite of many viewers of drag race and she's a favorite of mine as well. This Look was inspired by Episode 2, "Drag Queens In Outer Space".  She wore a golden, robotic ensemble on the runway with a dramatic gold and purple eye look with bright blue glittery lips.

Japanese Visual Kei Inspired

Today I did a look Inspired by a Band called Malice Mizer. They were popular in Japan around the year 2000 but I didnt discover them until I was about 15 years old. So I was 5-6 years late.  This specific Look was inspired by one Guitarist, Mana in the video  for "Kyomu No Naka De Yuugi".
